2019: wrote and put up Hard Times (part 1) at Keegan Theatre. featuring many loved humans.
2020: wrote and put up Hard Times (part 2) at Keegan Theatre.
live-streamed. there was no one in the audience. it was really awkward.
2021: wrote and put up Hard Times (part 3) at Arena Stage to kick off their Cabaret Nights series. My cabaret reopened the Kreeger Theatre with their first live audience since the start of the pandemic.
They didn’t let me take any bootlegs, so this was a special moment between me and a few hundred humans.
The Signature Show: featuring a behind the scenes look at The Color Purple, Bobby Smith and Matthew Gardiner play "The Post-It-Note-Game,” and a world premiere acoustic arrangement by David Rowen of "Summertime", performed by Chani Wereley, Derrick Truby, Sarah Anne Sillers, and Cristian Perez.
